TALKING WITH... JACK SOCK
September, 2008 continued

Q: What has been your best win?
A: "Probably... 16s Easter Bowl is a surprise to me because I came in as the eighth seed and, honestly, I wasn't thinking about winning at all. I was trying to get to the round of 16, maybe quarters. I don't know. I kind of just went with the flow in that one and then I realized through the semis that I was in the finals of national after coming back. And I hadn't been playing that well. That was kind of a surprise to me. That was a good one."

Q: What tournament did you have the most fun at?
A: "So far, I really do like this one (Kalamazoo) the most, honestly."

Q: I know you have one brother, Eric, that plays. Just one sibling?
A: "Yes."

Q: Does anyone in your family play tennis?
A: "My mom used to play until she had us. Then she kind of started giving it up."

Q: Are you thinking about college?
A: "I am, I am thinking about college based on what happens in the next couple of years results wise, because I'm going to start playing a lot of ITFs (International Junior events). I haven't played one yet. I do want to go, but if I do really well and some things happen, I might not."

Q: "Where do you train?"
A: "In Kansas City."

Q: "With anyone in particular?"
A: "Mike Wolf and at the Academy in general."
