8th Annual

Croatia - July 3-6, 2003

The eighth annual Smrikva Bowl, held at the Smrikve Tennis Club in Pula, Croatia, was a huge success. Boys and girls came from 13 countries to compete in this prestigious event for players 10 and under.

Winners Dominic Thiem and Jennifer Ren were given mountain bikes. Finalists George Morgan and Silvia Njiric received Babolat rackets. In addition, the winners and finalists will get a trip to Austin, Texas, in October. The Smrikve Tennis Club has joined with the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation to create the Little Mo/Smrikva Bowl. The second annual international competition between the United States and Europe 10 and under players will be held after the Little Mo National Championships on October 24th.
