2005 WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES

The USTA has named the top college players chosen to represent the United States at the 2005 World University Games. The team, which will compete in Turkey August 11-21, will be lead by men's coach David Roditi and women's coach Lori McNeil.

Ryler DeHeart of the University of Illinois, John Isner of the University of Georgia and Scott Green & Ross Wilson of Ohio State University will make up the men's team. Ryler and John will participate in the singles competition, while Scott and Ross will compete in doubles.

The women's team will include two-time NCAA champion Amber Liu of Stanford, Jennifer Magley of the University of Florida and Catrina & Christian Thompson of Notre Dame. Amber and Jennifer will play singles while the Thompson twins go for the doubles.

All of the players finished the 2004-05 season within the top 13 of the rankings, giving the U.S. a strong team for the competition.
