2006 NCAA DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS

It was Emory all-around in the team event with both the men and the women taking the titles. For the women it was their fourth consecutive crown when they defeated Washington & Lee, while the men beat Middlebury.

Bates's Will Boe-Wiegaard, who was last year's finalist, won the men's singles and Matt Seeburger (right) of UC-Santa Cruz made it two in a row when he teamed with Shane Templeton doubles title. (Last year he won with Matt Brunner.)

On the women's side, Lyndsay Palen ended her college tennis career at Gustavus Adolphus with a second consecutive doubles title with partner Tara Houlihan. Washington & Lee's Emily Applegate brought the women's singles trophy back again for the General's as Lindsay Hagerman had done in 2005.
