TALKING WITH... TIM SMYCZEK
September, 2005 continued

Q: Where do you go from here?
A: "I'm going home for a few days and then I'm going to play some Futures out in California."

Q: Are you thinking about college?
A: "I am. It's a big decision coming up soon. I'm not leaning either way. I wouldn't go until next September, but I'm waiting to see how I do to make a decision."

Q: Does anyone else in your family play tennis?
A: "My brother used to. He played until college and went to Notre Dame. He didn't make the team there so he focused more on school. My sisther plays high school tennis. My mom used to play high school tennis."

Q: At what age did you start playing tennis?
A: "When I was three."

Q: That's pretty young.
A: "I used to go to the park with my parents."

Q: Where do you train?
A: "I'm down in Saddlebrook a lot. I basically call Saddlebrook home. There are some good players there. And then I also spend some time in Key Biscayne at the National Training Center."
