2000 USA TENNIS COLLEGIATE TEAM

The USTA and ITA announced the twelve players chosen to compete on the 2000 USA Tennis Collegiate Team. Coaching the men's and women's teams will be Tim Cass of Texas A&M and Sheila McInerney of Arizona State, respectively.

The USA Tennis Collegiate Team is a training program for top American college players which exposes players to the professional circuit while providing elite training. Players were chosen based on the following criteria: U.S. Citizen; Final WingspanBank.com Collegiate Tennis Rankings; NCAA Singles Champion; Performance in ITA Collegiate Grand Slam events; Dual Match Record; Sportsmanship

The team begins play in June and will continue through to the U.S. Open in August.
