Q: What has been your best win?
A: "I'd have to say that one time I beat Lauren Embree. I played her four times and I lost to her three times. But I beat her once. And that was my first time at Easter Bowl so it was really exciting. And it was 16s and I was unseeded and I was expected to lose like first round." (Kristie would also beat Lauren in the USTA National Spring Championships final the next day.)

Q: What tournament did you have the most fun at?
A: "Probably Fed Cup."

Q: What tournament haven't you played yet that you are most looking forward to playing?
A: "Hopefully the Junior U.S. Open this year. Hopefully I'll get a wildcard in."

Q: Does anyone in your family play tennis?
A: "My brother plays. He doesn't really play much anymore, but he played a little bit of varsity."

Q: High school or college?
A: "High school. But he's not playing this year. Otherwise, no one else really plays."
