At the Adidas ITF Junior International in India, Vivek Shokeen won his first ITF title on home soil when he took the singles event. Kazakhstan's Amina Rakhim was the girls winner in both singles and doubles (with Xeniya Palkina.) Other players making a "clean sweep" of ITF tournaments in February were Raony Carvalho at the Condor de Plata; Jeevan Nedunchezhidan at the Indian Tournament in Chandigarth; and Chu-Huan Yi & Jenny Swift at the Aukland 18 & Under Summer Championships.

New Zealand's own Sacha Jones won her first circuit title when she defeated Ayumi Okuma of Japan in the singles final of the Sunsmart 18/U Canterbury Championships. Marcel Goodman of the USA squeaked by Algerian Mehdi Bouabbane, 7-5,7-6(7) in the boys singles final. Jenny Swift and Emelyn Starr were the girls doubles winners while Ryan Bellamy and Greg Jones took boys doubles.

Joao Souza of Brazil and Anna Tatishvili of Georgia dominated Argentina as each took home trophies at the Argentina Cup and the International Junior Tournament of Chile.
