2006 RIVIERA WOMEN'S
ALL AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Riviera Tennis Club - Pacific Palisades, California
Pre-Qualifying (at UCLA): September 30-October 1, 2006
Qualifying: October 3-4, 2006
Main Draw: October 5-8, 2006

[ITA MEN'S ALL-AMERICAN]

The University of California's Suzi Babos has proven that she's no one-hit-wonder by following up her NCAA trophy with the Riviera All American Championships singles crown. The unseeded Hungarian defeated surprise finalist Melanie Gloria of Fresno State, 5-7,6-3,7-6(8).

Though they did reach a record third straight final at the championships, Notre Dame's Catrina and Christian Thompson didn't repeat as winners as Arizona State's Roxanne Clark and Kady Pooler (below) gave that school their first All American trophy with an 8-4 win.
