ALL AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

University of Tulsa - Tulsa, Oklahoma
Pre-Qualifying: September 30-October 1, 2006
Qualifying: October 2-4, 2006
Main Draw: October 5-8, 2006

[RIVIERA WOMEN'S ALL-AMERICAN]

There's a new national champion on the college front and he's won Tulsa's first title. Arnau Brugues did not lose a set on his way to defeating number one seed -- and defending champion -- John Isner of Georgia, 7-6(5),6-4.

It certainly hasn't been a bad week for John Isner, who won the doubles title with teammate Luis Flores (pictured below) and increased his wins to 41 out of his last 42. Michigan's Brian Hung and Matko Marvavic, seeded four, lost to the Georgia duo, 8-3.
