The second-seeded Emory men captured their third ITA National Team Indoor Championship with a 6-3 win over top-ranked Washington University. Meeting in finals is
nothing new to these two teams and it was time for the Eagles to get even. In the last event, the 2008 NCAA Division III Championships, it was
Washington who prevailed.
This year the NCAA Division III women also had a chance to compete for an ITA National Team Indoor Championship title. It was the Carnegie Mellon
women, who were seeded fifth among the eight teams, who suprised everyone by taking the title. The final represented the team's first-ever win over second-seeded Emory and
brought the Tartans to 9-0 for the season.
