At the site of the Olympics in Seoul, two players took home the trophies during the 2005 Asian Closed Junior Championships. India's Sanam Singh was the singles winner over Kuwait's Abdullah Magdas, 6-4,6-2, before he teamed with Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan for the doubles over Elbert Sie and Shuhei Uzawa. On the girls side, top seed Yung-Jan Chan of Tapei took singles over Kazakhstan's Amina Rakhim before sharing the doubles with I-Hsuan Hwang.

Evgeny Kirillov of Russia and Alexandra Dulgheru of Romania were the champions at the Beaulieu Sur Mer in France. They eliminated Kristina Antoniychuk and Gianluca Naso respectively to earn their titles. It was the second win in two weeks for Alexandra, who was victorious in Italy at the Guru Cup. Gianluca won the boys singles at that event.
