ROLEX NATIONAL INDOOR
INTERCOLLEGIATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Brookhaven Country Club - Farmers Branch, Texas - February 1-4, 2001

FEBRUARY 1, 2001-DAY ONE

[DAY ONE]   [DAY TWO]   [DAY THREE]   [FINALS]

It was a day of few surprises as all the top seeds advanced through the first round. Men's No. 1 seed Genius Chidzikwe was taken to three sets by UCLA's Jean-Noel Grinda before he prevailed. Stanford's Laura Granville won her 50th straight match and made it one step closer to capturing the Rolex title two years in a row. The top four on both sides came charging through, but there's some stiff competition coming along the way.
