MEN'S USTA/ITA INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

Top-seeded Stanford University took a third consecutive USTA/ITA National Women's Team Indoor Championship with a 4-0 defeat of the University of Texas. The unseeded Texas team, led by new coach Patty Fendick-McCain, put up a fight through some close matches. Lele Forood's Cardinals were the first team to ever win the title without giving up a single point, finishing 26-0.

Natalie Frazier of the University of Georgia -- pictured right -- received the USTA Sportsmanship Award. The 16 participating tournament coaches chose Natalie for displaying outstanding sportsmanship and exemplifying the spirit of college tennis during the course of the tournament and throughout her college tennis career.
