ITA SMALL COLLEGE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Florida Gulf Coast University - Fort Myers, Florida
October 13-16, 2005

The titles all went to NAIA universities at the 2005 ITA Small College Championships. Larikah Russell of Southern Nazarene won her fourth NAIA Championship and second straight Super Bowl. Larikah took the singles event over Marta Simic of Broward. The men's singles crown went to Embry-Riddle's Mislav Hizak after he defeated Matias Oddone of Drury in the finals. The doubles winners were Kamila Dadakhodjeva & Nadia Lysak of Auburn-Montgomery and Ricardo Omana & Andrew Begemann of the College of Santa Fe.

Matias Oddone and Carnegie Mellon's Amy Staloch were named the 2005 James O'Hara Sargent Sportsmanship award winners. The award, presented by Rolex Watch, U.S.A., is given in memory of Rolex Watch Media Manager Jim Sargent, a great friend of college tennis.
