Anna Blagodarova/Michelle Sammons-Texas A&M defeated Lindsay Clark/Lauren Ritz-Yale, 8-2
Flight B-Charlie Tansil/UPenn over Julia Koulbitskaya/UPenn, walkover
Alison Adamski/Maja Zivicova-St. John's defeated Janet Kim/Sara Lederhandler-Yale, 8-6
Flight C-Lindsay Clark/Yale defeated Stephanie Davidson/Texas A&M, 6-2,6-3
Flight D-Tiffany Clifford/Texas A&M defeated Lauren Sadaka/UPenn, 6-2,6-4
Flight E-Kristen Scott/Princeton defeated Kelley Kirkpatrick/Brown, 6-7,6-3,1-0(10)

Syracuse women's coach Luke Jensen has been named PTR Member of the Year by Racquet Sports Industry Magazine.

Former Illini Michael Kosta, who has been working as a successful comedian, has taken a gig for the Fox Network to do ten episodes of CCHA All-Access in Fairbanks, Alaska. For more on Michael's Hockey show or upcoming appearances, visit http://www.MichaelKosta.com.

Michigan State's women used the hometown advantage to capture seven singles titles and one doubles at the Spartan Invitational. The winners were Christine Bader, Stephanie Kebler, Manon Noe, Michelle Murphy, Lindsey Lonergan, Whitney Wilson & Marianne Eelens.

Georgia Tech's Guillermo Gomez defeated Georgia's Jamie Hunt in then finals to take the Georgia Tech Fall Tournament singles. Tech's Scott Blackmon & Ryan Smith won doubles.

At the Southern Intercollegiate Championships, South Carolina's Gira Schofield took the top flights in singles and doubles (with Ana Marija Zubori).

The University of Alabama picked up three titles at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships with Andrew Felsenthal winning the Hanna Singles and Tide doubles with Houssam Yassine and Sammy Struyf taking the Stabler bracket. The hometown team also narrowly missed a fourth as Daniel Buikema & Mathieu Thibaudeau fell in the finals of the top doubles bracket to Ted Angelinos & Lee Singer of Virginia. Virginia Tech's Yoann Re won the Namath bracket.

William & Mary sophomores Ragini Acharya & Magdalena Bresson claimed a trio of titles at the Hampton Roads Collegiate Invitational, with Flight A singles and Flight B singles & doubles.

Dom Inglot of Virginia won the ITA Mideast Regional.

Wendy Pilecka of Arizona State won the Dr. Jim Gray Draw of the June Stewart Invitational. It was a good month for Head Coach Sheila McInerney who was chosen to be inducted into the USTA Southwest Section Hall of Fame.

Two USC-Upstate players captured flights at the USC Fall Invitational. Sandy Franz took A-1, while Renzo Airaldi was the winner in B-2.

David Kuczer of SMU won the top flight at the Rice Invitational.

Denes Lukas of Baylor won the Charles Fluitt Invitational and will receive a wildcard into the 2008 Cincinnati ATP Master Series qualifying.

Former Georgia Bulldog Gordon Smith has been named Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the USTA.

At the Louisville Fall Tournament, the winners were:
Flight A: Alejandro Calligari/Louisville defeated Luka Marinkovic/Illinois State, 6-2,6-4
Grutter/Antons-Indiana over Herrlinger/Matthews-Xavier, by default.
Flight B: Sven Burus/Toledo defeated Ben Clos/Louisville, 6-0,6-4
Camacho/Maksimcuk-Louisville over Miller/Miller-Toledo, by default
Flight C: Nutthauit Likitkumchorn/Toledo defeated Currie Martin/West Kentucky, 6-2,6-4
Segota/Ivanis-East Kentucky defeated Dieciuc/Schubert-Xavier, 8-3

Andy Bryan of Gustavus Adolphus and Monica Lalewicz of Abraham Baldwin were the recipients of the 2007 James O'Hara Sargent Sportsmanship Awards given at the ITA Small College Championships.
