The Georgia Tech Holiday Tennis Classic will be held from December 27th-31st at the Bill More Tennis Center. The unique event is open to junior, college and professional players (with prize money for the pros). Past participants have included Robby Ginepri, Bobby Reynolds & Scoville Jenkins. Alex Seaton of the University of Minnesota captured the singles title at the Wildcat Invitational.

Notre Dame's Cosmina Ciobanu & Katie Potts won the top flight doubles at the Hoosir Classic with a win over Mississippi State's Martina Banikova & Valeriya Makarycheva, 9-7.

Jamie Hunt & Ricardo Gonzales won the Georgia Tech Invitational doubles title, topping Mississippi State's Christopher Doerr & Pjortrs Necajevs in the finals. In the singles final, Texas Tech's Bojan Szumanski defeated Marc Spicijaric in the finals, 6-3,7-5.

South Carolina's Yevgeny Supeko & Pedro Campos were the doubles winners at the South Carolina Fall Invitational after beating Wake Forest's Andrew Brasseaux & Cory Parr, 8-6.

Wichita State University Director of Tennis Chris Young has been named the national winner of the USTA/ITA Community Service Award. Lehigh University Men's and Women's Coach Dae Shook is the national winner of the USTA/ITA Campus Recreation Award. The two will be honored at the ITA Coaches Convention.

Georgia Tech picked up three titles at the Rice Invitational as Amanda Craddock defeateed SMU's Natalia Bubien (6-3,4-6,6-2), Christy Striplin defeated Rice's Rebecca Lin (6-4,6-2) and then Amanda & Whitney McCray teamed to take out Illinois' Leigh Finnegan & Megan Fudge (8-4).

At the June Stewart Invitational in Nashville, Middle Tennessee's Ann-Kristin Siljestrom & Marlene Chemin remained the only undefeated duo in the round-robin event.

Alabama's Dan Buikema & Mathieu Thibaudeau won the top flight doubles championship at the Crimson Tide Championships while Miami's Daniel Vallverdu took that flight's singles.

UCLA made a good showing at the 50th Annual Southern California Intercollegiate Championships. Sophomore Michael Look defeated junior Mathieu Dehaine, 2-6,7-5,6-3 in the singles final and then paired up with senior Chris Surapol for the doubles final. The duo fell to Denver's Timo Kienle and Kalle Rosen, 8-6.
